Your UAE filing deadlines, worked out from your own year end.

Corporate Tax counts nine months from your financial year end and VAT counts 28 days from each period end, so almost every business has different dates. Enter yours.

Your filing calendar

Set your financial year end and filing frequency, then generate your dates.

Indicative timeline only. Dates are derived from the standard UAE rules and the inputs you provide. Your assigned VAT period, any non-standard first tax period, and reliefs or elections can all change them. Confirm against Federal Tax Authority guidance or ask us to check your dates.

How these dates are worked out

None of the dates above are typed in by hand. They are derived from two rules and your own financial year, which is why the calendar changes when you change the inputs.

  • Corporate Tax. The return and the payment are generally due within nine months of the end of your tax period. Because that counts from your financial year end rather than a fixed national date, almost every business has a different deadline.
  • VAT. Returns are generally due within 28 days of the end of each tax period. Most businesses are assigned quarterly periods; those with turnover above AED 150 million are generally assigned monthly.

The dates that are fixed for everyone

E-invoicing is the exception. Those milestones are set nationally and depend only on your revenue band, not your financial year. Businesses at AED 50 million revenue or above face the earliest of them.

Filing and payment are the same date

There is no gap in which the return goes in and the money is found afterwards. If a return produces a liability, that amount needs to be available on the same day, which makes both Corporate Tax and VAT payments cash flow events rather than compliance events. See building a 13-week cash forecast.

If a date has already passed

Late registration carries a fixed AED 10,000 penalty. Late VAT filing is AED 1,000 for a first offence and AED 2,000 if repeated within 24 months. Since 14 April 2026, late payment accrues at 14 percent per annum, charged monthly on the outstanding balance. Filing and payment penalties are separate, so file on time even if you cannot pay in full. See FTA compliance support.
